I am so pleased to have won this great award for Best Art Gallery Devon! Thank you to all of those who took the time to vote for me. It’s always scary when awards are voted by the public but I was blown away by the support you all gave and it was enough to take the win, thanks so much

As a gallery , we aim to make everyone who walks through door feel welcome and at ease to browse and enjoy the art work on the wall. I know how walking into Art galleries can be a daunting prospect for some. Everyone is welcome through our door, including children and furry friends!

Wild Goose Release!

I am thrilled to announce the release of Wild Goose, the 8th picture book in the Goose series! I will be holding a number of events and signings to celebrate this.

I will be at Drakes Circus Waterstones in Plymouth on Saturday 29th April, where I will have readings at 12pm and 2pm and leading activities in-between.

After the success of last years launch, the Eden Project have also asked us back for a book event on Saturday 6th May!

Watch this space for more events or visit www.gooseandfriends.com for lots more information and to buy your book.

You can also visit me at my gallery and get your signed copy from 6th April.

Wild Goose is all about Sophie, Goose and their two friends, Ben and Tess’ exploration of the outdoors. They follow nature trails and encounter mini beasts, finding wild treasures on their way. But when it’s time to go home, Goose is sad. What will the children do with all the wild treasure they’ve found to cheer Goose up?

New originals for the Alnwick gallery

I am really enjoying working on this original for the Alnwick gallery in Northumberland. Most of my recent paintings have been of my local area in Devon, especially Teignmouth so it has been great for me to switch my mind to some of the other beautiful places around the UK. I plan on creating two originals for the Alnwick gallery and I will be heading up there in late November to showcase them which is exciting!

Back Beach Bliss: Release Sept 2016

The beach huts along back beach Teignmouth

The beach huts along back beach Teignmouth

I am thrilled to show you my latest limited edition print ‘Back Beach Bliss’. This is based on the gorgeous beach huts along Back Beach (also known as River Beach) in Teignmouth. I love walking along here and taking a peek at the different families that enjoy this special place. This print features characters from my series; the couple can be found in the first beach hut lazing in the sun. It has reached that lovely time of day where a glass of wine is the order of the day. Next along we can see Fisherman Pete in his beach hut drying off his dog. And a little further along is Sophie and Goose’s beach hut. I wanted to give a glimpse into these character’s lives and have placed clues in each beach hut to tell you more about their character and personality. I hope you enjoy it!

Venus National Awards!

The Venus Awards are all about celebrating Women in Business, and the day certainly did that. Hosted by Tara Howard at Audley Wood hotel, in Basingstoke, the day started with drinks on the lawn and music played by saxophonist, Dave Sanders.

Arriving at the National Awards

There were 20 Awards to give out throughout the day, and my one was second to last…. we had a three course meal to get through and I must admit I was so nervous I struggled! However when my name was called it was utterly surreal! I made a rather flustered speech as I was so overwhelmed, it was so wonderful to have so much support and people routing for me.
