Named 'The Best Spot in the World' because wherever I have travelled in the world this for me really is my favourite place. There is so much detail in this one, including Sophie and Goose paddling in the water, the cat and the mouse in the foreground, the ferry, fishing boats, gig rowers and lots of hustle and bustle on back beach. This is a place you can watch the whole world go by, soak in the colours of the day, and feel the warmth of the sunshine. Our memories are always more vibrant and nostalgic and this is what I have tried to capture in this piece.
