Feeling Free
This painting is based on Bedruthan Steps in Cornwall and is all about feeling free. I remember the feeling of wonder from my first visit here with my Mum at 16. I was overawed by the scale of the towering rocks which made us feel tiny in comparison. We had only recently moved from Kent, and I hadn’t experienced the true joy of nature in all its wild beauty. This painting is about my relationship within that space and time. Nostalgia mixed with awe. I want the viewer to connect with this, and be able to hear the sounds of the waves and the gulls and feel the wildness of this landscape.
If you look closely you will see two figures running across the sand.
This painting is quite a departure from my usual style and uses mixed media of pen and watercolour, India and acrylic inks and pastel to add pops of colour to the rocks and sand.

Delivery
All of our products are available to ship throughout the UK and to selected countries in Europe. UK delivery can be expected in 3-5 working days and 7 days on artworks. We also cannot ship artwork as framed or mounted products outside of the UK - instead these will be sent as rolled paper prints and we will provide a separate shipping cost quote. All other shipping costs will be calculated in the basket.
