This Sweeping panorama was painted during a very sunny spring! The sparkling sea twinkles beneath the array of yachts and boats moored along the Teign and out at sea making the most of the fine weather. The Ness cliff is, as always, prominent with the The Ness pub and hotel nestling at the bottom of it. The colourful houses of Shaldon line the seafront, and behind we can see the beautiful rolling hills with their ploughed fields and spring crops beyond. The iconic black and white Teignmouth Shaldon ferry can be spotted making its way over the river, taking people back and forth to enjoy their days on the other side. You can see paddle boarders and some rowers heading out for a session just in front of the brightly coloured beach huts of Back Beach. Someone walks their dog across the Salty, and a scooter drives up the hill next to The Ness. Everyone is enjoying the glorious weather and all the delights Teignmouth and Shaldon have to offer on this magical bit of the English coast
