There is a nod to the year this picture was painted; after such an unprecedented time it seemed only right to add the Queen Mary 2 cruise liner in the background, just behind the Ness. It was such an iconic sight and after the sell out release of Times We Wont Forget earlier in the year the QM2 has been highly requested to return to another painting! The seal also bobs in the foreground - I couldn't leave him out!

This painting is all about a happy Summer - people enjoy the beach, swimming, paddle boarding, relaxing on boats and making the most of a beautiful sunny day.

I loved painting all the little details, if you look closely there is so much to see in the windows, boats, gardens... with the simple aim to make you smile!
